Corn Chowder Recipe

This old fashioned corn chowder recipe is perfect for soup season, or anytime of year when you want soup on the menu. The best part is, the ingredients are super simple.


– Celery – Evaporated Milk – Butter – Cream Corn – Boiling Water

Here is how to make your own homemade corn chowder, just in time for chilly weather season.

Add celery and water into a pan and simmer until soft. Drain the water and add the celery back to the pan.


Add remaining ingredients except for the bacon and heat until heated through.


Remove from heat and allow a few minutes to thicken. Add the optional bacon crumbles and salt and pepper to taste.
